This body of work is inspired by Nina’s favourite travel locations around the world. From the south of France to Costa Rica these paintings have been depicted from a bird’s eye view of the conversation between human activity and planet Earth’s stunning landscape. Different parts of the world have their own character and culture that seen from above create different patterns, colour and formation. Nina is interested in the way we as humans immerse ourselves in this landscape and enjoy every moment of being present - from the sand to the sea. Whether it’s tucked under parasols or surfing in the sunshine, she depicts all our movements in the natural landscape to carefully compose these compositions. and give perspective to our time on this planet.
